Petoskey Evening News, Wednesday, July 16, 1930

The funeral of Frank Cronn and Harold C. Williams who died last Saturday in a boat accident on Bear River, was held yesterday.  The American Legion supplied the firing squad for the service at Greenwood Cemetery for Frank Cronn, a veteran of the Spanish American War.  McCabe Camp U.S.W.V., conducted the service at the cemetery.  The body of Mr. Williams is to be buried at Mt. Morris, Michigan, the funeral party leaving last night for that place.  Rev. H.A. Baines had charge of the service.
